Dr. Betty Shabazz Delta Academy
The Delta Academy is a program for young ladies ages 11-14. The academy is designed to enrich and enhance the education of the academy participants and proide service learning. The primary goal is to prepare the young ladies for leadership in the 21st century.
Delta GEMS
The Delta GEMS is a continuation of the Delta Academy for girls ages 14-18. The 5 major components of the GEMS are:
- Scholarship
- Sisterhood
- Show Me The Money
- Service
- Infinitely Complete
Activities within the components provide opportunities for self reflection and individual growth.
